How Bluewater Runs Eleven Stores Like One

The problem
Four systems, one version of the truth missing.
Head office pushed price changes by email and hoped. Stock transfers between stores were arranged on the phone and recorded, if at all, days later. Marketplace settlements were accepted without checking, and nobody could say which outlet actually made money after rent and staffing.
The solution
One data model, activated a module at a time.
Core plus POS, retail multi-store and the e-commerce integration gave Bluewater one catalogue pushed to every counter, one stock pool across stores and marketplaces, and settlement reconciliation that checks payouts against what was actually owed.

Eleven outlets, one catalogue, and settlements from three marketplaces reconciled automatically. We finally know which store and which channel actually make money.
The result
Less reconciliation, faster decisions.
Marketplace settlement discrepancies recovered in the first quarter more than paid for the year. Two underperforming outlets were identified and one was relocated. Stock-outs at the counter fell by roughly half.

The counter keeps billing when the internet drops, which in half our locations is not a rare event. That alone sold the store managers.
